No single program can possibly take care of everyone's needs. Fortunately, there are many health-related programs serving our metropolitan area. Here is a short list of some of Portico's community partners that may be able to help you:

Services Offered
Program for Hennepin County residents that offers a discount on the cost of care at specific care providers.
Information & referral service for health care, dental and many other resources in the state of Minnesota.
County health care program for adults who do not have dependent children.
Covers most health care services for those who qualify. Call Portico for assistance applying and with the enrollment process (651) 603-5100.
Mental health clinic that charges according to income.
Assists women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy.
Medical Assistance(MA)

County health care program for families, children, senior citizens with low incomes, and for people with disabilities. Covers most health care services for those who qualify. Call Portico for assistance applying and with the enrollment process (651) 603-5100.
Federal health care coverage program for people 65 years of age or older, some disabled people under the age of 65 and people with end-stage renal disease.
Individual health insurance option for people who have been denied individual coverage due to preexisting medical conditions.
State-subsidized health care coverage program for people who live in Minnesota and do not have health insurance. Call Portico for assistance applying and with the enrollment process (651) 603-5100.
Minnesota Vision Project

Provides eye exams for people who do not have health insurance, do not qualify for government health care programs, cannot pay for the exams themselves, and meet income guidelines.
Refers people to community clinics in their neighborhood that charge according to income.
Provides reproductive health care services and education to women, men and teens.
State program that helps people who are 65 years of age or older or people of any age who are certified disabled pay for prescription medications.
Free health care services for people who do not have health insurance.
Provides health insurance counseling for seniors. Also connects them with other services that they may need.
