We work to reduce the number of people without access to health coverage through the generous support of our hospital partners, foundations, corporations, and individual community members who strive to make a difference.

Each year, Portico outreach workers meet with hundreds of individuals and families without health insurance and help them apply for public programs or Portico’s own health access program. For just $1,200 a year, Portico can fund a new opening on our access program for a neighbor without access to health insurance. The program pays for visits to primary care clinics, specialty care services, prescription drugs, outpatient mental health services, eye exams and glasses, interpreters, transportation, and care management. Your gift in any amount can make a difference.
